Summary

The leader of a righteous band of thieves, with hidden villages known as Kumogiri no Sato scattered throughout the Bandō region. Though not a member of the Fire Clan, he assists Ziria out of disdain for the Daimon Church's treacherous ways. He once trained under Gama-sennin and is considered Ziria's senior disciple. In the Xbox 360 version, it is revealed that he was excommunicated by Gama-sennin due to his acts of theft, but he has not lost his gratitude towards his master. To repay this debt, he aids Ziria. In the novel version, his full name is "Kumogiri Nizaemon."
