Dr. Deloren, in charge of bionics. He dresses like a doctor. He developed the Root Clan by combining various genes through genetic engineering.
He leads the Root Clan as one of the Three Scholars (who are siblings), plotting the resurrection of Yomi. In the story, although categorized under the Root Clan, he originally hails from the Ihika tribe of Nagekino-tani. His father is the chief of Nagekino-tani. He has lived a considerably long life, having existed during the great war a thousand years ago.
