Benares

An immortal servant of the God of Destruction, the Demon-Eyed King (Kaiyanwan), known as Wu, and the strongest and most formidable enemy in the story.

His personality is generally cautious and strict. He possesses absolute loyalty to his master, the Demon-Eyed King, but at the same time, he is a battle-crazed warrior who takes pleasure in combat above all else. However, he is not just a brute; rather, he is often depicted as a strategist who torments Yakumo and his allies by setting up multiple layers of intricate traps.

He is highly prideful and despises being protected by subordinates or fleeing from battle. He is extremely strict with his subordinates, punishing those who make significant mistakes or act beyond their place with harsh discipline. However, he also shows compassion, mourning fallen subordinates, apologizing when he lets his guard down, and ensuring injured followers receive treatment after battles or punishments. Because of this, the Beings of Darkness both fear and respect him as their superior.

Beyond physical combat, he is also a great sorcerer, wielding a life force far greater than ordinary demons and mastering various forms of magic, including Beast Magic. In the story, he is revealed to be the creator of Beast Magic, a technique exclusive to Wu. According to him, he is capable of controlling a hundred Beast Demons.

JYŪMA-JYUTSU
TŌTYAO土爪 A beetle-like creature with three enormous claws that slashes its target.
KOANYĀ光牙 A light-element beast magic in the form of a three-eyed dragon. It possesses one of the highest destructive capabilities among attack-type beast magic. It looks like an energy beam similar to a "Kamehameha."
FUYAOCHICHIŪ縛妖蜘蛛 Spider-type Jūma, a giant spider that captures its target and seals it in a small cocoon.
INYĀ影牙 A Jūma with the property of swallowing Koanyā; its shape is similar to Koanyā, but its body color is jet black and far more ominous.
REISHIWO雷蛇 Berbentuk ular yang terbuat dari petir dan menyerang target dengan sengatan listrik.
NĪMAO泥毛 A capture-type Jūma; numerous hairs extend from its slug-like body to ensnare its target.
HOIFON回風 A giant disc with blades on all four sides that slices its opponent.
IENTŌ炎头 A giant skull engulfed in flames, dispersing fire around itself to attack.
DONSHIUECHIU凍血球 A sphere covered in countless spikes that freezes its target upon contact.
HŌYUANHŌCHAO火猿猴爪 A Jūma that wraps its hands in fiery claws to attack.
ANSHĪYUI闇食魚 A Jūma that can be considered the natural enemy of "Anyui," possessing the ability to consume Anyui.
SŪCHETŌ絲切頭 A Jūma capable of cutting through the petrifying threads of "Shīsū" and consuming it.
CHINGUI鏡亀 A giant turtle with a mirror-like shell that, like Chinkū, defends against and reflects light-based attacks. Due to its larger size compared to Chinkū, it can protect against a wider range of light-based techniques.
PAOKŪ泡蠱 A capture-type Jūma that envelops its target within its body without harming it.
TEICHIN-CHĪCHĪCHON地精集気蟲 A healing-type Jūma that clings to the target and injects energy to restore stamina. A later improved version, an unnamed Jūma that attaches to the back, also exists.
STEN-SHIFON-CHINFONFAN四天聖精奉還 A defensive beast magic composed of four small creatures. These creatures form a tetrahedral shield around the user, providing ultimate protection from any attacks.

OTHER TECHNIQUES
FŪYAOCHEN縛妖陣	A powerful technique that opens a hole into a subspace, casting the target inside. This subspace lacks water, air, and light. In the past, Benares has banished many Wu and Sanjiyan using this technique.
CHOANRINRIN穿靈菱	A technique that transforms a living being into a diamond-shaped parasite and possesses another creature. The possessed creature loses its memory and has its personality overridden by the parasite.
SPELL LINE呪的命綱	A technique that converts the target's energy into a spell-link to the caster's body. Once connected like a lifeline, it cannot be severed unless the caster wills it. Due to the neural connection, the caster gains knowledge of the target's location and what they see.
RYŪSEIHA龍精波	The overwhelming energy wave emitted by Benares' true form, the evil dragon god. It indiscriminately affects all nearby living beings, gradually eroding their minds. In the past, it nearly destroyed the Holy Land.

SHADOW WALLS影・防壁	The jet-black version of "Energy Shield" used by Yakumo.
SHADOW TENTACLES影・触手	Black tentacles extend to strike or restrain the opponent.
BUFFER SHADOW緩衝影	A technique that destroys the opponent's shield with both hands.
FLASH MOVE転位	A teleportation technique.
CANNIBAL SHADOW人食い影法師	Jet-black energy clings to the opponent and devours their life force. (For Echidna, it increases energy instead.)
SHADOW KILL NET影・殺網	Jet-black energy shoots out from the palms in eight directions, attacking the opponent.
SHADOW AXE影・斧	An axe made of jet-black energy.
