Summary
As a child, she was a tomboy who spent most of her time playing outside with boys. During middle school, a classmate who was a manga fan told her about a voice acting training school. This led her to attend a summer school program at the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy during her first-year high school summer vacation.
Early in her career, she frequently played energetic young girls and bird characters. In 1990, she began gaining recognition as a rising young voice actress. In 1996, she was cast as the heroine Shingūji Sakura in the video game Sakura Wars. This role became her breakthrough, leading to her continued appearances in the series' sequels and spin-offs, earning her widespread popularity.
