Takagi Wataru

Originally, Takagi Wataru aspired to become a stage actor, but while waiting for the entrance exam for a theater troupe, he found it unbearable to have nothing to do. Looking through an entertainment magazine for something interesting, he came across an article about student recruitment for the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy. Thinking, "Voice acting is also a form of acting, so it might be useful," he decided to apply and was accepted. At that moment, he became fascinated with the world of "acting using only the voice."

The production of Mr. Ajikko was a turning point in Takagi's career, and he was fortunate to be surrounded by experienced seniors.

He has appeared in numerous anime and dubbing roles. His character types range from energetic and serious young men to more sensitive roles. While he has played many lead roles, he is also known as a voice actor who makes supporting characters shine.
