Summary
In the fourth grade of elementary school, my uncle took me to see a play for the first time. Watching the actors speak so freely in front of so many people and being the center of attention made me think, "What a wonderful world this is..." and that's what inspired me to aspire to be an actor. During middle and high school, I was deeply involved in the drama club. After graduating high school, I joined the Theater Weekend troupe and worked as a stage actress. I started my acting career with a TV drama appearance in 1975.
Although I wanted to work in film, I happened to get an opportunity to try voice acting, and I made my debut as a voice actor in 1975 with the role of Kikyōya Yayoi in the TV anime "Ikkyu-san." Especially in the 1970s and 1980s, I played many famous popular characters, gaining immense popularity across generations. I could be considered a pioneer among female idol voice actors.
