In 1990, she passed the third generation of "Otome Juku", a talent training program hosted by Fuji TV, and debuted as a singer the same year. She later became active mainly in variety shows.
She is an avid gamer and has a hobby of drawing manga. She even created dōjinshi with her friends.
In 1995, she retired from the entertainment industry after marrying a man four years younger than her, who worked as a carpenter at a construction company and was a friend of her younger brother. However, even as a full-time housewife, she continued to participate in Comic Market (Comiket).
