Summary
There are various Tengu hermitages in different countries, each inhabited by a Tengu.
Originally from the Root Clan, the Tengu grew disillusioned during the war between the Fire Clan and Root Clan a thousand years ago. Upon leaving the Root Clan, he was helped by Mari, and in return for this favor, he provides Manjimaru and his companions with various scrolls and information throughout the story.
He has a lifespan of over a thousand years.
