Shiro

The heroine Kinu's pet dog. One of the puppies born to the pet dog of the Ne clan. Sent to Oeyama by Gen'omaru as part of a scheme to weaken Kinu's power protecting Hōsuin. When Fubuki Gozen, disguised as Princess Aya, killed Shuten-dōji, the dog was freed from Gen'omaru's curse by Kinu's power and came to be protected by Shuten-dōji's demon subordinates and raised by Kinu. Raised like siblings with Kinu. For Kinu, who had lost her parents, the dog was like her only family.

This very large dog with high attack power seems to have been influenced by the fire clan's Princess Aya as well, as the villagers of Ayabe village said about Shiro, "That dog is incredible, having been raised on Princess Aya of the fire clan's milk along with Miss Kinu."
