Summary
Kinu's mother. Her husband is the leader of the Demon Tribe, Shuten-doji. A gentle and beautiful woman skilled in sewing. She has the blood of the Fire Clan.
She was the youngest of five sisters from the prestigious Ikeda family in Kyoto. However, she was not the child of the legitimate wife but of a favorite priestess of the master, which made her ostracized by those around her. Therefore, she was supposed to be sent away to the countryside to marry. Aya, not wanting to marry the partner her parents had chosen, had herself kidnapped by her lover, Shuten-doji, while on the way to her wedding, and eloped to marry him. (This plan was devised by Aya.)
Later, when Oeyama was invaded by the forces of the Root Clan, she was killed alongside her husband.
